Rustbit
500 is a kind of economical
surface preparation tool, providing effective and quick rust removal
performance with only one person.
It is chain type electric motor driven deck scaling machine and can
cover approx. 10m2 / hour on flat areas (hatch,
deck, etc) with surface grade Sa1.5. Rustbit 500 is very simple
to operate and easy to assemble/disassemble for saving maintenance
manhour and reducing breakdown.
Operation
According to the condition of decks, handle Rustbit 500 two
or three times back and forth.
Three-linked chains made of tempered steel strike against
decks & remove rusts, scales and old paints.
Press down slightly the O-shaped handle so that
other scaling parts are not worn away and only chains are able
to play a role to remove rust & scale.
Attention
To protect Rustbit 500 from overloading,a special
safety locking device is installed. In the event of overloading,
stop the operation for 20 minutes.
Working time of one and half hours is recommended
for long-life service.
When assembling, carefully tighten bolts and nuts
just enough for the first linked-chains between plates to be
shaken easily.
